Joshua Griffin was a Research Scientist at Disney Research where he lead research in radiolocation and radio frequency identification (RFID). His research interests fall in the area of applied electromagnetics and include radio wave propagation; creating low-power, backscatter sensors; improving radio communication through physical layer techniques; and radiolocation.
Joshua received the B.S. degree in engineering from LeTourneau University in 2003, and the MSECE and Ph.D. degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He received the Graduate Research Assistant Excellence Award from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Georgia Tech in 2009. He has been with Disney Research since 2009.
